Do I need good credit to pawn an item? No. Pawning does not require a credit check. The amount offered is based only on the value of the item you bring in. Pawn transactions are also not reported to credit bureaus, so they do not affect your credit score.

Do I have to make monthly payments on a pawn? No. A pawn does not require monthly payments like many other lending options. Your pawn agreement simply has a due date. To redeem your item, repay the pawn amount plus the applicable interest and fees on or before the due date. If you need more time, you can make a payment to extend or renew the pawn agreement. You can extend your agreement by paying the interest and applicable fees for the time you need. Casa Pawn offers 30-day and 60-day extensions, which allow you to keep your item in pawn while giving you additional time. You can also renew the agreement by paying all interest and fees that have accumulated so far. A renewal restarts the agreement for a new 90-day term, giving you another full period to come back and reclaim your item.
